Worldwide Consulting Service for Small Animal Veterinarians

Metropolitan Veterinary Consultants is a worldwide consulting service for small animal veterinarians. MVC was founded in 1998 by Dr. David Sobel in order to directly attend to the needs of animals requiring advanced diagnostics and surgeries in the areas of endoscopy, endosurgery and diagnostic ultrasound.

Dr. David S. Sobel

Dr. Sobel began his veterinary training at the University of Glasgow in Scotland before graduating from Tufts Veterinary School. He served on the staff of the Dover Veterinary Hospital and the Hanover Veterinary Clinic for seven years before beginning his mobile consulting practice, Metropolitan Veterinary Consultants. He trained with human endoscopic surgeons at the New England Medical Center in Boston and is a member of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, the AVMA, Vermont VMA, the New Hampshire VMA, the British Small Animal Veterinary Association and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons of Great Britain.

He is licensed in Vermont, New Hampshire and the United Kingdom.

Dr. Sobel has written and lectured on endoscopy and endoscopic surgery around the world and currently consults with several practices in Great Britain as well as seeing cases across New Hampshire and Vermont.
